Famous for being able to bring out the stars, the NFL’s championship contests annually produce reactions that can be almost as much fun as the game itself. Super Bowl LIX was no exception.

After the game turned out to be a bit of a competitive letdown, with the Philadelphia Eagles crushing the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22, several moments and reactions made their way through social media.

High on the list had to be the moment Taylor Swift appeared on the jumbotron. Swift, famously involved in a relationship with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, popped onto the screen in quick succession after some other celebrities, though her visage elicited a notable chorus of boos, presumably from Eagles supporters, who were in strong attendance at the game.

Swift initially looked surprised by the reaction before eventually cracking a smile in response.

Still, Eagles fans are famous for booing Santa Claus, so perhaps their reaction shouldn’t have been a surprise to anyone.

Kendrick Lamar naturally got social media into a tizzy himself with his halftime performance, which featured Samuel L. Jackson as a narrator and used provocative American imagery to tell a powerful story, but also didn’t shy away from prodding at longtime favorite whipping boy Drake.

“I wanna play their favorite song but you know they love to sue,” Lamar said on screen, referencing Drake’s lawsuit over Lamar’s wildly popular “Not Like Us” diss track, the song that perhaps ended any talk of a feud between the R&B artists quickly and decisively.

Lamar played a slightly edited version of the song, but he also trotted out some folks on stage who would make a pointed impression on Drake as well, including tennis superstar Serena Williams, who crip walked, and then took to social media about the experience herself.

Several other stars in attendance noticed the heat for Drake.

Shifting back away from the music, of course the football game itself also elicited some pretty fun fallout.

Former New England quarterback Tom Brady, broadcasting the game for FOX, caught a pretty significant stray from former Eagles quarterback Nick Foles, who couldn’t help reveling in another Eagles Super Bowl victory.

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was named Super Bowl MVP, which many people who followed his college career – and all the twists and turns that took (including a benching in the National Championship Game) – noted was simply a remarkable turnaround.

And finally, during the postgame trophy celebration, Eagles coach Nick Sirianni called on offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, reportedly set to become the New Orleans Saints’ next head coach, to instead tell the Saints “no” and run it back in Philadelphia.

Maybe Moore can go home again?
