Vanessa Marc is an aesthetician and the founder of Vanessa Marc Spa in New York City. She’s been the go-to skin guru for Hollywood elites and some of the internet’s favorite cool girls, including Zendaya, Hailey Bieber, and Cara Delevingne. As such, she constantly keeps her finger on the pulse of the skincare industry to best serve her clients. “My relationship with beauty has evolved through continuous learning and education,” she says. “I stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and invest time in studying product ingredients. Marc says her passion grew from addressing and correcting issues with her own skin. “I’ve always been passionate about learning how to address and correct skin issues, stemming from my own experiences,” she says. “This passion drove me to help others with their skincare concerns. I enrolled in esthetics school, graduated, and decided to make skincare my career. I gained valuable knowledge and experience working in various spas, all while dreaming of creating my own brand. Today, I work closely with a chemist to formulate in-house products for Vanessa Marc Spa to deliver long-lasting results for our clients. Opening my own spa was a dream come true.”
Her skincare philosophy is minimalism rather than maximalism. “I believe less is more. Focus on a handful of products that truly work for your skin and invest in professional treatments performed by a licensed aesthetician. Achieving the best results takes time, but it’s worth it. For me, investing in treatments like facials, micro-needling, chemical peels, and laser hair removal helped me reach my goals. Now, as a spa owner, I can provide the same transformative services to my clients with the right products for maintenance,” she says.
