Here’s Why Southern Hospitality’s Emmy Sharrett Should Probably Dump Will Kulp

Here’s Why Southern Hospitality’s Emmy Sharrett Should Probably Dump Will Kulp

Emmy Sharrett needs an Oscar for her performance on the newest season of Southern Hospitality. The server has cried more mascara tears over rumors about Will Kulp than I care to count. But for some reason, even with the mounting evidence against the lawyer, Emmy still chooses to stand by her man. That said, viewers are pushing for the blonde to dump Will. And let’s be honest, there is a long list of reasons why that is a very good idea.

Will Kulp might have cheated on Emmy Sharrett

Now, I use the word might because everything has been allegations with little to no proof. All anyone has is the plethora of stories coming out of the woodwork about Will’s affairs at law school. Firstly, I want to know what law school this man goes to as it seems students have a lot of time on their hands. Austin Stephan shared that his girlfriend knew firsthand of another scandalous incident. He told cameras, “I heard some sh*t about him. I don’t know if this is, like … I straight-up was told that he hard cheated on Emmy. F*cked somebody at a party. I found this out yesterday. I just happened to, like, stumble upon this information.” And “I wasn’t looking for it.”

This is just one of many rumors regarding Will’s sexual prowess. Many stories include a trip to the bathroom, too. The waving red flags are not slowing down, but Emmy pushes her head farther into the sand. She is so hyper-focused on her dream that she has started to ignore all the signs that she is being treated poorly. If she doesn’t act fast, she is going to be single with no friends, wondering where it all went wrong. Honestly, as Molly Moore said, “How many receipts does Emmy need in order for her to return Will?”

Will Kulp doesn’t defend Emmy Sharrett

For the entirety of Season 3, Will has made it his job to openly vent about Emmy. The aspiring lawyer hasn’t talked to a friend quietly about his concerns but instead spilled his guts while drunk at her place of work. I can’t even wrap my head around how bad Emmy must have felt when her friends finally told her what was being said. And even though she defended Will, the point should have been driven home that he isn’t that into her. According to the cast, Will has openly complained about Emmy, claiming she only cares about herself, does not have ambition, is insensitive, does not listen, and works out too much.

After being confronted, Will told his friends. “I think I was just stressed from school, and it was bleeding into our relationship a little bit. I was just venting. You always need to vent to people, and the back room at Republic feels like a safe space.” However, Emmy should in no way be putting up with such disrespectful behavior. Will should be talking to his girlfriend about his concerns not everyone else in Charleston.

Emmy Sharrett is holding out for a miracle

Emmy, if you are reading this, listen up. You are going to have to take off the rose-colored glasses eventually. Will is already pulling away for Season 3. Fans have watched as he has left Emmy to the wolves and refused to participate in trips. I can only imagine that if he is an absent boyfriend, he might even be an absent fiancé and husband. However, Will isn’t the only problem, as Emmy needs a major wake-up call. In a recent interview with Us Weekly, “Will has 110 percent been faithful to me. do not believe Will cheated on me at all for one second,” Emmy shared. The secondhand embarrassment is so cringe I literally can’t stand it.

There is some hope for Emmy. She also told the outlet, “I would dump Will in two seconds if he cheated on me, gone goodbye. I will not be disrespected,” Emmy stated. “Do it once, I will warn you. Do it again, I’ll break up with you, and I won’t look back. And that’s how I’ve always been.” Southern Hospitality viewers aren’t quite sure how many other stories Emmy needs to be convinced. Still, I do hope she figures it all out soon before she is left heartbroken by the Warner Huntington III of Charleston. So, Emmy, please say the famous Legally Blonde quote with me, “But if I’m going to be a partner in a law firm by the time I’m 30, I need a boyfriend who’s not such a complete bonehead.”

Southern Hospitality is available to stream on Peacock.
