Rihanna Fans Shower A Flurry of Emotions, As New Music Makes Way for 2025

The anticipation for Rihanna’s releases is known to be over-the-edge-driving, with years upon years of teasing, but to no avail, her 9th studio album, fans have only maintained their optimism. Because while she might have gone AWOL from the music scene, the nine-time Grammy-winner’s absence was only the cost of her now major beauty mogul status, courtesy of her record-breaking makeup empire, Fenty Beauty.

Rihanna has not lain her expertise to waste, however, teasing fans with what they might be missing out on as she continues to keep her music unreleased, sprinkling the dry spell with one, heart-wrenching ‘Lift Me Up’ on the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack, Super-Bowl-bump-reveal performances, and now, being set to release new music for the upcoming The Smurfs musical film, this summer. 

Rihanna has been titled the Best-Selling Female Recording Artist of the 21st Century, and no matter how rigged some might call it could not have been achieved without only a world full of avid listeners. And with complete faith in the singer/fashion icon’s ability to transgress the boundaries of common taste, fans are over the moon about Rihanna’s “blue era” and how this might just set her up for a comeback on the big music scene. The news of Rihanna’s affair with The Smurfs was first revealed in April, 2024, where the icon was rumored to be playing Smurfette.

As the announcement of this comeback spread like wildfire, fans are more than happy to have their favorite have another list of credits under her belt, but there are also a few who might be left wanting a tiny bit more from generation.
