The Indian team for the upcoming FIDE Chess Olympiad was announced on Thursday.
D Gukesh, R Praggnanandhaa and Koneru Humpy headline a lineup that will take part in the competition in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, from September 17 to 27.
India enters the tournament as defending champions in both the open and women’s sections, with the teams securing their maiden golds in 2024.
