A fine bowling display from Rasikh Dar (4/24) and Bhuvneshwar Kumar (3/27) helped Royal Challengers Bengaluru defeat Lucknow Super Giants by five wickets at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Wednesday night.
With the win, RCB went to the top of the table with eight points from ten matches. LSG remained at seventh place with four points from five matches.
Earlier in the evening, RCB captain Rajat Patidar won the toss and chose to bowl first. RCB brought in Josh Hazlewood for Jacob Duffy while LSG went with an unchanged lineup.
In a ground which has traditionally been dominated by the batters, it was the bowlers who made the difference today as RCB bowled out LSG for 146.

LSG’s batters had another tough day in the office and to make matters worse, lost its captain Rishabh Pant to an elbow injury early in on in the innings.
Although Pant returned to bat in the 17th over, his stay lasted for only a couple of deliveries and that was the last we saw off the LSG captain in this game.
Chasing a below par 146, RCB made light work of the target and comfortably chased it down with 29 balls to spare. Virat Kohli top scored for the home side with 49 in the second innings.
