It was a big year for preppy style—and when prep wins, Ralph Lauren wins. The polo pony was everywhere in 2025, with readers snapping up everything from classic Oxfords to winter-ready sweaters.

Prep’s comeback wouldn’t have been complete without a smattering of boat shoes. From classic menswear brands like J.Crew to tried-and-true staples like Timberland and Sperry, there was a boat shoe for every occasion this year.
