It is the last Friday of the NBA’s regular season, and it is going to be a busy one with all 30 teams in action tonight. So, if you like options, well, you’ve got plenty to choose from to bet on the NBA. Too many choices?
Don’t worry; we’ve narrowed them down for you in our Best NBA Bets list.
The challenging part is figuring out who will be gunning for a win and who is already looking to the offseason/playoffs. I kept that in mind when I selected the following for my best NBA bets for the day.
Houston is on a roll right now. With a 113-102 win over the Philadelphia 76ers last night, the Rockets have won eight in a row and their sixth consecutive home game. With the Lakers also winning last night, they still have something to play for: the No. 4 seed.
They’ll face a Minnesota team that is locked into the No. 6 seed and is probably already thinking about how best to deal with the Denver Nuggets in the first round. The Timberwolves will be without Rudy Gobert, and it would not be shocking to see Anthony Edwards and Julius Randle sit (both are listed as GTD and questionable).
My Pick: Rockets -10 at -110 (bet365)
The season series between them is 1-1. But this is essentially a meaningless game for the Timberwolves. They have no reason to try to win, unlike the Rockets. Couple that motivation with how well they’ve been playing on both ends of the court, and that ten-point spread doesn’t look so scary.
Our Current Best Offers
Knicks -6 at -110 (bet365)
New York has dominated the Raptors this season, winning all four previous matchups by 15+ points. The Knicks are healthy, have won four straight, and are playing at home, where they are 29-9 this season. At this time of the year, there is a chance they sit people and look to the playoffs, but with the No. 3 seed not secure yet, I doubt they’ll sit anyone tonight.
Toronto has something to play for as well (staying out of the play-in tournament), but they don’t stand a chance against a healthy Knicks team at home.
Our Current Best Offers
The Lakers rallied behind a 26-point game from LeBron James to beat a depleted Golden State Warriors team last night, 119-103, to retain their grasp on the No. 4 seed. But now they’ll face a better Phoenix Suns team. However, the Suns are also fresh off a win, one that secured the No. 7 seed.
So, the Suns don’t have anything to play for, and the Lakers do. Devin Booker is listed as out for Phoenix, but Los Angeles is down Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves.
My Pick: Suns ML at -125 (bet365)
This is a winnable game for the Lakers, but in the second half of a back-to-back. Los Angeles has more motivation to win, but I don’t trust this Lakers team to overcome a rest disadvantage. Phoenix may be without Devin Booker, but Dillon Brooks (assuming he plays) will be enough to lead them to a win.

It just got more expensive to sit in prime seats at the 2026 World Cup.
Already facing backlash for ticket prices, FIFA has added “front category” admission to its sales website. What FIFA is calling a front category 1 seat to see the United States play Paraguay on June 12 in Inglewood, California, is available for $4,105.
Earlier the top price for a category 1 ticket was $2,735. These tickets have been topped by the new ticket class.
There also is a new front category 2 tier, with tickets going for up to $2,330, for the U.S. opener.
Canada’s opening-round match against Bosnia and Herzegovina on June 12 in Toronto also has undergone an upgrade to availability with the addition of front category 1 tickets, selling for as much as $3,360.

Ticket prices for the 104 matches — to be played from June 11-July 19 across 16 host cities in the United States, Mexico and Canada — have been a major source of discussion among fans.
In early March, FIFA raised its top ticket price for the World Cup final to $10,990 during the glitch-hampered reopening of sales. The price had been $8,680 when FIFA sold tickets after the tournament draw in December.
FIFA president Gianni Infantino repeatedly has said that all 104 matches of the 2026 World Cup will be sold out. After initial backlash from fans over exorbitant costs, a “supporters-tier” category of tickets was added in December.

Back in 2024, the Cleveland Cavaliers sat out players in their final regular-season game to secure the four seed and face the Orlando Magic in the first round of the NBA playoffs. The plan kinda worked for Cleveland, as they did advance to the second round after a tough seven-game battle against the Magic. Boston took care of Cleveland in five games in the next round, so that plan didn’t work, but the Pacers, whom they were trying to avoid, did run through the bottom half of the East and found themselves in the Conference Finals.
Fast forward to today, and Cleveland finds themselves in a very similar situation. They trail the Knicks by a half-game and a tie-breaker for the three seed. If you put truth serum in the veins of the Cavs and Knicks, I’m sure both teams would rather be the four seed and face the Pistons in a projected second-round matchup.
Boston is loaded with star talent and guys who have won playoff games before. Detroit has had a tremendous season, but with Cade Cunningham just now returning from a collapsed lung and the lack of a second superstar, Boston is simply a tougher draw in the playoffs. Jalen Duren has been great for the Pistons this year, but he’s not nearly as valuable as any of Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, or Derrick White.
Cleveland is projected to play the Hawks in the first round if nothing changes, and that’s a team they match up well with. They lack physical interior play that Cleveland struggles with, and that showed in Wednesday’s face off between the two squads.
Honestly, I expected Cleveland to rest most of their guys in this one. The Cavs have been battling small injuries all season long, and it felt like a great time to rest their guys; however, they decided to change the culture. Cleveland played their core four of Donovan Mitchell, James Harden, Evan Mobley, and Jarrett Allen, and looked very solid in a playoff-like atmosphere.
This new core has played only 64 minutes together this season; they need all the reps they can get before the end of the year. Worrying about your seeding is something that bad teams do. When you’re in the playoffs, you have to beat whoever’s in front of you. Worrying about seeding when you’ll have to face great teams regardless is a loser’s mentality.
Between the media calling Allen and Mobley soft, and them also languishing in Harden’s playoff failures, this team has enough working against them. It’s good to see them putting their heads down and letting the cards fall as they may.

Rajasthan Royals batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi on Friday struck a 15-ball half century against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati.
This equals his own record of the joint second-fastest fifty that he scored against Chennai Super Kings earlier this season.
Suryavanshi and Jake Fraser-McGurk are the only two batters to notch up two 15-ball fifties in the IPL. Yusuf Pathan, Sunil Narine and Nicholas Pooran are the only other batters to have achieved this feat.
Led by the teenage prodigy’s effort, Rajasthan put up 97 runs in the first six, the side’s best haul in the PowerPlay.
