Kevin Hart’s Custom 2024 Ford Bronco Heads To Auction

Kevin Hart’s Custom 2024 Ford Bronco Heads To Auction

Kevin Hart is sending one of his most personal automotive projects to auction. Sometime between January 17–25 in Arizona, Barrett-Jackson will offer his custom 2024 Ford Bronco, a build Hart co-designed with Vintage Modern that prioritizes intention over spectacle. Rooted in off-road heritage yet elevated by modern performance upgrades, the Bronco stands apart from typical celebrity consignments. It’s a rare instance where involvement feels thoughtful rather than performative, and with no reserve price attached, collectors are paying close attention.

Unlike the usual celebrity auction entry, this Bronco carries Hart’s fingerprints throughout. He didn’t simply approve a finished concept; instead, he worked closely with Vintage Modern to shape every decision, from exterior restraint to mechanical refinement. That hands-on collaboration gives the truck the feel of a personal project rather than a branded asset, and that distinction matters in today’s collector market.

A Bronco That Feels Intentional

At first glance, the Bronco’s presence is unmistakably restrained. Finished in a deep Triple Black treatment, it avoids visual excess and lets proportion and surface detail take the lead. The monochrome exterior grounds the design, allowing subtle elements, such as slim headlights, a flat-facade grille, and matte black trim, to quietly reference early Bronco styling without drifting into pastiche.

Beneath that composed exterior sits a modern 2.7-liter V6 producing 330 horsepower, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. A Roush intake and exhaust system brings a responsiveness that pushes beyond stock Bronco performance. Meanwhile, upgraded suspension and BFGoodrich all-terrain tires ensure the Bronco is as capable off-road as it is composed on city streets.

Rather than attempting to recreate the past, this build uses heritage as a guidepost, embracing contemporary engineering while honoring the Bronco’s original spirit.

Inside: Sophistication Meets Purpose

Inside the cabin, the same philosophy continues. Black leather upholstery wraps the seats and interior panels, creating an atmosphere that feels both refined and purposeful. The modern Bronco’s digital displays and touchscreen interface remain intact, reinforcing that this is a current-generation vehicle designed to be driven, not preserved under glass.

A premium Kenwood sound system adds depth without excess. It complements the cabin rather than dominating it, reinforcing the build’s emphasis on balance and usability. Comfort and safety features remain fully functional, underscoring that this Bronco is grounded in the present, and not a cosmetic homage to the past.

A Collector’s Mindset

Hart’s relationship with cars has long gone beyond casual interest. Over the years, he has commissioned standout builds—Plymouth Roadrunners, Dodge Chargers, and other classics—that push design boundaries while maintaining mechanical credibility. What sets this Bronco apart is its narrative.

As his first major custom modern 4×4, the project reflects a deeper level of personal investment. The collaboration with Vintage Modern feels guided by taste rather than trend, resulting in a vehicle shaped by decisions Hart might have made if he were personally sourcing, refining, and assembling each component. That authenticity elevates the Bronco from celebrity curiosity to legitimate collector consideration.

What the Auction Could Reveal

Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale auction is known for commanding strong results from vehicles with pedigree, and this Bronco enters the spotlight without a reserve. Its final price will be determined entirely by market response, such as by bidders who connect with its story, craftsmanship, and mechanical substance.

While high-trim stock Broncos can already exceed six figures, Hart’s involvement and Vintage Modern’s execution suggest this example could push well beyond that threshold. Ultimately, bidders aren’t just acquiring a vehicle. They’re purchasing provenance: a bespoke build shaped by an engaged enthusiast rather than a celebrity label applied after the fact.

More Than a Vehicle

There’s a broader cultural resonance embedded in this auction. Automobiles have always reflected personal identity and taste, and Kenin Hart’s Bronco does so without excess or theatrics. Its appeal lies in clarity of design, of purpose, and of execution.

As it heads to Barrett-Jackson, the Bronco stands as proof of what happens when personal vision meets technical craft. Whether it ultimately resides in a private collection or continues its life on the road, it will never be mistaken for something ordinary.

Some auctions make headlines for record-breaking prices. This one draws attention because it feels meaningful—a rare convergence of era, engineering, and genuine enthusiasm.
