New Trailer for 10th Anniversary of ‘The Revenant’ Starring DiCaprio

“I ain’t afraid to die anymore… I’d done it already.” 20th Century has revealed the new trailer to celebrate the 10th Anniversary re-release of the epic, Oscar winning survival thriller classic The Revenant. This first opened in limited theaters in December 2015, then hit wide release in January 2016 after picking up a total of 12 Oscar noms. It also eventually won 3 Academy Awards in 2016 – including Best Cinematography, obviously. “Don’t miss Leonardo DiCaprio’s Academy Award-winning performance!” The bear fighter Leo himself returns to the big BIG screen. Shot on location for real up in Canada entirely with natural light – a frontiersman on a fur trading expedition in the 1820s fights for survival after being mauled by a bear and left for dead by members of his own hunting team. The grueling, extraordinary survival adventure follows Hugh Glass as he struggles to stay alive and survive in the harsh, snowy conditions while seeking revenge on the man who left him. Leonardo DiCaprio stars along with Tom Hardy, Domhnall Gleeson, and Will Poulter. This is actually just an update of one of the best trailers for this movie that they released back in 2015. I remember covering this film enthusiastically back then, I’m a big fan. Indeed so “brutally beautiful.”
