Badass Full Trailer for Yuen Woo-Ping’s ‘Blades of the Guardians’ Film

“Every bounty hunter will be looking for you…” “Our five clans are united as one.” This looks like it might be awesome! Well Go USA has unveiled the full official trailer for a martial arts action thriller called Blades of the Guardians, the latest movie directed by martial arts master Yuen Woo-ping. Out to watch in US theaters starting today! Yuen Woo-ping is best known for directing the Drunken Master and Iron Monkey movies (and tons of others), as well as the handling the iconic action direction in The Matrix and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and many others. This is his latest movie since directing Master Z: Ip Man Legacy in 2018. Dao Ma, the “second most wanted fugitive,” is entrusted by his benefactor, chief of Mo family clan, to take on an escort mission by escorting the “most wanted fugitive” to Chang’an. Starring Wu Jing as Dao Ma & Nicholas Tse as Diting, Yu Shi, Chen Lijun, Sun Yizhou, Ci Sha, Li Yunxiao, Tony Leung Ka-fai, Zhang Jin, Kara Wai, with Zhang Yi and Jet Li. This new trailer is even better than the teaser we posted a few weeks ago – packed with some seriously badass footage and epic fight scenes galore. Looks like it might be worth the wait! Dao Ma (starring Jing Wu), the “second most wanted fugitive,” is entrusted by his benefactor, the chief of Mo family clan, to take on a mysterious escort mission – escorting the “most wanted fugitive” Di Ting (Nicholas Tse) to Chang’an. Blades of the Guardian, also known as Biao Ren or 镖人：风起大漠 in Chinese, is directed by martial arts master filmmaker Yuen Woo-ping, director of many films including Drunken Master, Magnificent Butcher, Dreadnaught, Legend of a Fighter, Tiger Cage, Iron Monkey, Red Wolf, True Legend, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny, and Master Z: The Ip Man Legacy (2018) previously. The screenplay is written by Chao-Bin Su and Larry Yang. It’s based on the manhua comic of the same name by Xianzhe Xu. Produced by Wu Jing & Baimei Yu. Made by Damai Entertainment in association with Beijing Dengfeng International Culture Communications Company and Woo Ping Pictures. Well Go USA releases Blades of the Guardians in select US theaters starting on February 17th, 2026 coming soon.
