Celebrities React to Eric Dane’s Death

Stars are speaking out following the death of Eric Dane.

The late actor, best known for Grey’s Anatomy and The Last Ship, passed away on Thursday (February 19) after battling ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease.

Many co-stars, friends and more are mourning the loss of Eric, sharing memories of working with him and just how he was as a person.

Alexander Ludwig, his Bad Boys: Ride or Die co-star, wrote on Instagram story, “Ugh this hurts so much. Will miss you Eric and loved our time together. You were a joy to work with.”

Nina Dobrev, who co-starred in Redeeming Love, shared, “Heartbroken to hear about the passing of Eric. He was warm, generous, prepared, and so passionate about what he did. He led with kindness and made everyone on our set feel seen. ALS is a cruel and unforgiving disease. May his memory inspire more research, awareness, and progress toward a cure. He will be deeply missed. Sending love and heartfelt condolensces to his family.”
