Developed by Sine Code and first released back in October 2024, Paragnosia is a psychological horror/hidden object title where you must observe every corner of your apartment through the lens of a camera. Locked in your surveillance room whilst anomalies run rampant around your home, you will need to have the courage to survive eight rounds of terror as you cleanse every room.

With a ‘Very Positive’ rating on Steam, Paragnosia will put your ghost-hunting abilities to the test, as not only will you need to exorcise the anomalies in each room, but you will also need to keep an eye on your battery if you wish to survive through the entire night.

This Is A Horror With Some Strong P.T. Vibes

By which I mean it’s very, very creepy

There is no denying that Paragnosia gives off some strong P.T. vibes which has again made me sad that we will never get to play it. However, it seems as though this Steam freebie is the next best thing, as players embark on gameplay that takes anything from 45–180 minutes with the goal of surviving for eight in-game hours. With each new “round”, new anomalies will appear in your apartment, but be aware as some will even have the ability to trap you or even break your camera. The more anomalies you miss, the more locks you lose on the seal that protects you from the entities. Miss enough anomalies, and you will lose your chance of banishing the evil and most importantly, make yourself vulnerable to them.
