This weekend, the realistic WW2-inspired shooter, Hell Let Loose, is going free to play for a limited time on Steam. Hundreds of free game demos are available on Steam over the week as part of Steam Next Fest. But, tf that weren’t enough, the PC gaming platform has also temporarily made the epic historical FPS free to play through Monday.
Gamers looking for a realistic FPS fix can find it in Hell Let Loose, developed by Expression Games and backed by veteran indie publisher, Team17. Experience some of the most iconic battles from WW2 on Steam for free until 1 p.m. EST on Monday, March 2.
Hell Let Loose Is Free This Weekend
Try It With No Obligation
Hell Let Loose is a realistic portrayal of the Second World War. The game recreates some of the most heated and memorable battles of the war from the Eastern and Western Fronts, and from North Africa.
Battle across war-torn environments and real-world locations as one of 14 distinct and historically accurate roles, including Officer, Medic, Tank Commander, and more. Use weapons and vehicles from the era to take on your opponents in epic multiplayer battles of up to 50 v. 50 soldiers.
Everything about Hell Let Loose is painstakingly created and designed to be as accurate as possible, down to the maps. Each location is lovingly rendered to-scale in Unreal Engine 4 using aerial and satellite imagery of the actual corresponding real-world locations.
You Have Until March 2 To Play For Free
Play As Much As You Want
If Hell Let Loose sounds like the kind of game you’d enjoy, you don’t have long left to try it. The title is completely free to play from start to finish, but only until March 2.
Although this accurate WW2 battle simulator is usually priced at $49.99, it’s currently on sale at 75% off until March 12. And there’s another perk if you continue the journey into the Second World War beyond the free weekend: The devs frequently add new content and updates. A followup title, Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, is slated to release later this year, so now’s the perfect time to give this franchise a try.
Of course, there’s no obligation to buy after the game preview ends. You can play the game completely for free until the preview period is over on March 2. Survive the brutal combat, work with your fellow soldiers, and make your mark on the tide of the war in this weekend’s Steam free-to-try game.
