ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive trailer for Finding the Zone, the coming-of-age sports movie from Freestyle Digital Media. It centers around a young man’s inspiring journey to fulfilling his dreams of becoming a baseball player despite the odds.

“The film tells the timeless coming-of-age story of Hardy Williams. Raised on a farm haunted by a traumatic past, Hardy dreams of becoming a professional baseball player. While his mother, Abby, faces financial ruin, and his best friend, Olive misguided by dysfunctional parents, searches for her own identity,” reads the official synopsis. “Hardy’s grandfather, Manoah, unexpectedly appears and teaches him life lessons that propel him toward an inner journey. Hardy struggles with personal losses, experiencing challenges on the field, and the death of his loyal companion, Scotch. Facing these unforeseen trials, he must confront his most notorious enemy and ultimately redeem himself by discovering his true identity.”

When is the release date for Finding the Zone?

Finding the Zone will be available to rent or own on North American digital HD internet, cable, DVD, and satellite platforms on March 24, 2026. The movie stars Zane Austin (The Amityville Murders) as Hardy, Terra Mackintosh (Best Summer Ever) as Abby, Joseph Lopez (Run Rabbit Run) as Manoah, and Jordan Cathryn (Friends List) as Olive.

Finding the Zone is written and directed by Elan Milkes, who is also serving as a producer alongside Michelle Opitz. The creative team consists of cinematographer Pete Villani, editor Steven L. Austin, composer Roman Kovalik, production designer T Marsh, and costume designer Alexa Alyeshmerni.
