Ed Sheeran is coming to Benny Blanco’s defense after Blanco recently sparked concern over his hygiene habits.

Sheeran, 35, joined his longtime musical collaborator on the latest episode of Blanco’s “Friends Keep Secrets” podcast on Tuesday, March 10, and the discussion quickly turned to cleanliness.

“Do you shower every day?” Blanco, 38, asked Sheeran.

The “A-Team” singer responded, “Yeah, sometimes twice a day. Mostly twice a day, actually.”

Sheeran then added, “I feel like I’m like you, though — I look like I don’t smell good. But actually, you’re the best-smelling person I know.”

“I know, I smell good,” Blanco agreed with Sheeran, noting that he doesn’t tend to smell even when he hasn’t showered.

Blanco’s friend and podcast cohost Lil Dicky (David Andrew Burd) and Dicky’s wife, Kristin Batalucco, also weighed in on the music producer’s hygiene.

Blanco invited Batalucco to smell him, while Dicky said his friend “always smells good.”

The music producer sparked backlash when he appeared to fart and showed off his dirty feet on the debut episode of the “Friends Keep Secrets” podcast last month.

As the social media chatter over Blanco’s seemingly dirty feet erupted, his wife, Selena Gomez, shared a video of her and Blanco kissing and wrote, “I fall more and more in love with you every day, my love.”

Gomez also made a surprise appearance on the March 3 episode of the podcast, kissing Blanco’s bare foot.

“You like that?” Blanco asked her. Gomez playfully tapped her husband and said, “Don’t make it a moment.” Blanco responded, “Oh, no. I wasn’t. I liked it. It made me feel good. I love you so much.”

Blanco and Dicky, 37, addressed the social media uproar over Blanco’s feet during a February 27 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

“I neglected something important because there is something that turned up as people were watching your multimedia experience. People seem to be fascinated with the idea that Benny’s feet are very dirty,” host Jimmy Kimmel said, flashing an image of Blanco’s feet from the debut episode.

“I noticed that too, Jimmy,” Dicky quipped.

Blanco said, “Wait. Wait. First of all, it’s the facility’s fault,” referring to Dicky’s home, where the podcast is filmed.

Blanco then whipped off his shoes and socks to show off his clean foot and declared, “I have great feet!”

“So you’re saying that [Dicky’s] floors are not clean and that’s the reason your foot [was dirty]?” Kimmel asked Blanco to clarify.

Dicky quipped, “On that day … you know how floors get,” while Blanco said, “A few of the days it’s been dirty!”
