“I would be bitter if I wasn’t so absolutely thrilled for Anne and the crew, and excited for the sequel myself. I’m a fan of the movie, and so I look forward to seeing the sequel as well,” he told the Us Weekly. “So yeah, I mean, obviously, I was disappointed [to not return], but you know, I can’t be in everything, you know?”
The Entourage alum continued, “I mean, Andy’s moving up, and, you know, I get it. Nate’s the devil, according to some people.”
Nate’s character is polarizing among audiences, with many believing him to be the film’s real villain, though he also has his defenders.
Even though he’s not in the film, the actor joked that he hopes to get an invite “to the premiere at least, come on!”
The Devil Wears Prada 2 will be in theaters on May 1. Watch the latest teaser!
