Jason Momoa is sharing an update after evacuating from his home in Hawaii.

If you didn’t know, there was a major storm on the islands, leading to flooding and the 46-year-old actor had to leave his home on Oahu due to the storm.

“I got my family with me. We got out of the North Shore … our power went off,” he shared in an Instagram video. “We’re safe for now, but there’s a lot of people who weren’t, so we’re sending all our love.”

“The North Shore is pretty gnarly right now. So hopefully everyone’s safe and getting out,” Jason added. “Stay safe out there.”

This weekend, Jason shared another video with girlfriend Adria Arjona about the flooding, and they were able to team up with local favorite restaurant Zippy’s to provide free food for those in need. In fact, the actor revealed that Zippy’s covered the cost and sponsored it.

“These past weeks have been heavy. The storms, the flooding, the constant rain across Oʻahu have affected so many of our people especially those already facing hardship. Seeing families displaced, communities struggling, and our unhoused neighbors hit the hardest,” he wrote in the caption. “I just want to take a moment to say Mahalo to my ʻohana, and to everyone at @zippys who stepped up this week with open hearts. What may feel like a small gesture can mean everything to someone in need.”

“We spent time on the west side, just trying to show love, bring some food, and remind our community that we see you, we stand with you, and you’re not alone. That’s what aloha is. It’s showing up for each other when it matters most,” Jason continued. “Big mahalo to @kanaka_solutions , @kaimi_kaneholani , @adriaarjona and the entire ʻohana for bringing everyone together. It was a small act, but it came from a place of deep love for our people.”
