An argument leading to a shooting is unfortunately nothing new, but it’s definitely unusual when it involves a former cornhole champion who was celebrated by ESPN for persevering in spite of being a quadruple amputee.
Initial reports indicated that police were unable to explain how Webber was able to drive a car or use a firearm, but a little searching answered those questions immediately, because Webber uploaded his own videos to YouTube showing off his ability to use a firearm.
At the time of writing there are four videos uploaded to Webber’s channel: The above, which shows him using a 9mm handgun, as well as an additional upload using a rifle. There is also a video that shows off him sledding in the snow, and another of him climbing a tree.
It’s rare you see a potential murder defense evaporate due to a YouTube video uploaded by the suspect, but here we are.
Webber was allegedly turned in to police by the two passengers in the car, who exited the vehicle and called police when they were asked to move the body. Police say Webber then fled the scene and was located at a hospital later in the evening, at which point he was arrested in Charlottesville, Virginia and will be extradited to Maryland to face charges.
