Grey’s Anatomy costars Caterina Scorsone and E.R. Fightmaster were spotted spending time together outside the halls of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

The actors were photographed holding hands in Los Angeles on Monday, March 23, after leaving lunch at the Highly Likely cafe.

In a picture obtained by E! News, Scorsone, 44, wore a green T-shirt with the French word “Oui” written across the chest.

She donned a matching green baseball hat, lightwashed jeans and sneakers as she held onto Fightmaster, 33, with her right hand.

Fightmaster also opted for a casual outfit, rocking brown pants, a white button-up shirt, a grey undershirt and Adidas sneakers. They finished off their look with a baseball hat and sunglasses.

The twosome’s outing came one week after they attended the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s 34th annual Academy Awards party in Hollywood on March 15. In a social media video from the red carpet, Scorsone and Fightmaster were seen walking side by side into the venue.

Grey’s Anatomy fans saw Scorsone and Fightmaster’s chemistry on camera when they briefly played love interests on the ABC series.

Scorsone has played Dr. Amelia Shepherd since season 7, while Fightmaster joined the cast as Dr. Kai Bartley for seasons 18 and 19.

The pair’s TV characters sparked a romance during season 19 in 2022, but it didn’t end well. Amelia was trying to make a long-distance relationship with Kai work while coparenting with ex Dr. Atticus “Link” Lincoln (Chris Carmack), but Kai took a job in London, leaving their relationship in the dust.

“The Kaimelia situation was such a heartbreak for Amelia because they were such a beautiful match and they both had this really electric understanding of the brain and neurosurgery,” Scorsone told Shondaland in January. “But life circumstances weren’t matching up, and there were all these externals that made it impossible. So since that heartbreak, she’s really been focused on medicine, which I think is actually the love of her life — her passion for the miracle of medicine and the human body.”

Since working together on the medical drama, Scorsone and Fightmaster have remained close. They were previously spotted at an Angel City FC game in 2023.

“A lot of our values align too,” Fightmaster told Fr Conventions in 2023 when asked about Scorsone. “I bring her with me to a lot of stuff and she brings me along to a lot of stuff. The last thing we did together that I was super stoked about was — I bring her to WNBA events. And we got to meet Brittney and Cherelle Griner, and that was awesome. Before that, we had volunteered at a high school with theater kids.”

Scorsone was previously married to musician Rob Gilles from 2009 to 2020. The exes share three daughters: Eliza, 13, Pippa, 9, and Lucky, 6.
