Italian Western ‘Heads or Tails’ Official Trailer Featuring John C. Reilly

“I want you to bring that woman back to me!” Samuel Goldwyn Films has revealed the official US trailer for an Italian western film called Heads or Tails, also titled Heads or Tails?, which first premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival last year. It’s the latest film from Italian directors Alessio Rigo de Righi & Matteo Zoppis of The Tale of King Crab from a few years ago. After a deadly rodeo and a stolen kiss, Rosa and her cowboy lover flee across the Italian wilderness, pursued by Buffalo Bill and the story he refuses to rewrite. The directors explain that John C. Reilly brought so much to the film: “When John came on board, he was exactly what we were looking for, not only tonally. He also had some ideas and brought many insights into the character, including many ironic aspects, and what he could look like and what he could do.” Reviews say: “This enjoyably rambunctious spaghetti Western tips its outlaw lovers into a nascent Italian class war.” Heads or Tails stars Nadia Tereszkiewicz, Alessandro Borghi, John C. Reilly, with Peter Lanzani, Mirko Artuso, Gabriele Silli, and Gianni Garko. Out to watch in the US this April. Take a look below.

Heads or Tails?, also known as Testa o croce? in Italian, is written and directed by the Italian filmmaking duo Alessio Rigo de Righi & Matteo Zoppis, both directors of the films Il solengo and The Tale of King Crab previously. It’s also co-written by Carlo Salsa. Produced by Alex C. Lo and Tommaso Bertani. This initially premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival in the Un Certain Regard section last year.
