Overview
Julietta is seeking a highly organized Production & Product Development Coordinator to support the development and production of core and seasonal collections.
Julietta is a fast-growing, hands-on environment, and this role is suited for someone comfortable working in a dynamic setting and taking ownership of key processes.
The position works closely with the founder and internal team to ensure sampling, production, and vendor communication run smoothly and on schedule. It requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple timelines across development and production.
A key part of the role is supporting quality control and maintaining a clear feedback loop between the studio and production partners to ensure consistency across all products.
This role offers significant exposure to all aspects of a growing jewelry business and the opportunity to take ownership of key production and operational processes.
Responsibilities
Production & Development Coordination
- Track sampling and production timelines across multiple styles
- Support the development process from initial samples through production
- Maintain accurate product specifications and development notes
- Ensure all styles move forward on schedule and flag delays early
Factory & Vendor Communication - Act as the main point of contact between the studio, factories, and manufacturers
- Communicate timelines, updates, and requirements clearly
- Proactively flag production issues, delays, or material shortages
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with production partners
Quality Control & Production Feedback - Perform QC checks on samples, components, and finished goods
- Identify and document production issues before items are shipped or used
- Maintain a centralized log of product issues by SKU and batch
- Communicate clear, actionable feedback to factories and production partners
- Track recurring issues and support improvements in future production runs
Materials & Production Support - Own ordering of materials and components for production
- Track material usage and deliveries
- Ensure materials are ordered on time to support production timelines
- Support organization of materials, samples, and production inventory
Production Tracking & Organization - Maintain and update production trackers and status sheets
- Ensure all production and development information is accurate and up to date
- Support overall organization of the product pipeline
Qualifications
- 2–5 years experience in production or product development (fashion or accessories preferred)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Detail oriented with strong follow-through
- Comfortable communicating with vendors and managing timelines
- Experience working with overseas production is a plus
- Proficiency in Google Workspace; experience working with Zedonk and production or project management systems like Basecamp is a plus
Details
Location: Dumbo, Brooklyn, NY
Salary: $65,000 – $72,000 depending on experience
Vacation: 10 days PTO
Start Date: ASAP (flexible for the right candidate)
This is an in-person role working from our Dumbo studio.
