“Katie was never supposed to be found… She was meant to stay buried.” Warner Bros and Blumhouse have unveiled another “Tickets On Sale” promo trailer for the horror remake titled Lee Cronin’s The Mummy. It opens in theaters nationwide in a few weeks – a freaky, disgusting April horror to scare the bejesus out of everyone. The daughter of a journalist disappears into the desert without a trace – until 8 years later, the broken family is shocked when she is returned to them. What should be a joyful reunion turns into a living nightmare… She is a freaky mummy somehow still alive. This horror stars Jack Reynor, Laia Costa, May Calamawy, Natalie Grace, Verónica Falcón, and Emily Mitchell. From the Evil Dead Rise director, this looks more like Pet Sematary remixed with The Mummy, with Cronin also trying to put in tons of Evil Dead-esque gore. This looks utterly depraved and terrifying – so many gross out horror moments incoming with this. Will audiences be into it? Or does it look too off-putting to watch at all? Find out later this month.
