Tommy Hilfiger has nurtured a lifelong passion for Formula 1. The cars — and especially the uniforms — dazzled the young Hilfiger when the Grand Prix races made their way over to where he grew up in New York State. “I went to one in 1965 and it had me: the excitement, the noise, the fact that it was international — I’d never been to an international event before,” the 75-year-old told WWD for a previous story.

In 2026, he’s still doing what he loves, after getting to work closely with Lewis Hamilton, serving as the official fashion sponsor of “F1: The Movie,” and otherwise embedding himself in the thrilling, prestigious world of motor racing. The collection, dubbed “classic cool meets Cadillac chrome,” is out now at usa.tommy.com and Amazon, but shopping at the former won’t guarantee you’ll get the threads by the time your flight leaves for MIA.
