UP: रियल एस्टेट कारोबारी 11वीं मंजिल से कूदे, IPL सट्टे में लाखों हारे; मरने से पहले पत्नी से कॉल पर रोए

लखनऊ में आईपीएल में सट्टा खेलकर लाखों रुपये गंवाने से आहत रियल एस्टेट कारोबारी ने बृहस्पतिवार रात कुर्सी रोड स्थित जनेश्वर इन्क्लेव की 11वीं मंजिल से कूदकर आत्महत्या कर ली। घटना से परिसर में सनसनी फैल गई। 

पुलिस ने घायल को ट्रॉमा सेंटर भिजवाया, जहां चिकित्सकों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया। मौके से सुसाइड नोट भी बरामद हुआ है, जिसमें सट्टे में नुकसान का जिक्र बताया जा रहा है। इंस्पेक्टर गुडंबा अंजनी कुमार मिश्रा के मुताबिक, मृतक की पहचान प्रबल जैन (32) निवासी महमूदाबाद, सीतापुर के रूप में हुई है। वह पत्नी शिवानी के साथ जनेश्वर इन्क्लेव में ओम प्रकाश श्रीवास्तव के फ्लैट डी-1102 में किराये पर रहते थे। शिवानी एक मॉल में ग्राउंड फ्लोर की मैनेजर हैं। दोनों का विवाह करीब डेढ़ वर्ष पूर्व हुआ था।

12-member Indian shotgun squad set for year’s second ISSF World Cup stage <div id="content-body-70927866" itemprop="articleBody"><p>A 12-member Indian shotgun squad is all set to take part in the year’s second International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup in Almaty, Kazakhstan, beginning with the team arrivals on Saturday.</p><p>A total of 284 athletes, representing 42 National Olympic Committees (NOCs), are in the fray for the five Olympic events on the 10-day roster. Eight members of the Indian squad are also travelling to compete as RPO (ranking points only) shooters.</p><p>Competitions begin with the men’s and women’s skeet qualifiers on Monday, with the finals scheduled for the next day.
