Do not be deterred by Blue Ivy Carter’s $5,000 shoes from the Met Gala 2026. If you want to take some fashion cues from the 14-year-old’s long-anticipated debut at the storied event, her look also included a hidden piece of jewelry that retails for only a fraction of the price.
In case you missed it last night, yes, Blue Ivy walked her first Met Gala last night, making her, alongside Sunday Rose, one of the only minors to do so since 2018. The rising star rocked a voluminous Balenciaga gown, complemented by a white jacket, sunglasses, and a whole lot of jewelry, including a gold-plated ring from Simuero, a trendy, up-and-coming jewelry brand founded in Valencia, Spain, by Rocío Gallardo and Jorge Ros.

As she posed on the red carpet, we couldn’t help but notice Blue Ivy wearing a familiar dual-tone ring on her index finger, which turns out to be the Buzo style by Simuero, as confirmed to Teen Vogue by the brand.
The Buzo style is handmade in Valencia, Spain, from gold-plated recycled 925 sterling silver and features a unique dual-stone organic setting housing a Topaz CZ stone and a natural Sky blue topaz stone. The piece, unlike Blue Ivy’s expensive shoes, retails for only 190€, or $270 if shipping to the US.
Slowly but surely, Blue Ivy is making a reputation for supporting independent designers, and her Met Gala look is not an exception. The ring selected by Blue Ivy for the night is from the brand’s La Costa Collection, which also included toe rings co-signed by Sasha Obama last year. Other stars who have also been seen rocking pieces from Simuero include Rosalía and even Rachel Sennott’s character, Maia Simsbury, in HBO’s I Love LA. The little bling and pop of color provided an extra layer of contrast to Blue Ivy’s look that did not go amiss as she struck her poses.
