ETRO‘s Summer 2026 collection, “The Modern Nomad,” drops its cast onto a volcanic island and treats travel as both setting and mood, with two collaborations anchoring the story: British artist Tabby Booth handles the women’s prints with a folk-inspired bestiary, and a Globe-Trotter suitcase set closes things out with a patch dated to ETRO’s 1968 founding.

Her imaginary bestiary brings together stylized animals, arboreal forms, and primitive figures, where folk imagery and the natural world run together. ETRO’s signature Paisley gets taken apart in her hands and rebuilt with bold strokes and sharp color contrasts on caftans, kimonos, pajama sets, denim, and beachwear.

Print runs the rest of the women’s edit too. Dreamlike plants bloom across sky-blue grounds. Suits and flounced dresses carry prints that look painted directly onto the cloth. Knitwear arrives in openwork patterns and rainbow-stripe geometry. Paisley-print denim shows up as jackets and pants. Shirts, tops, and T-shirts wear butterflies and flowers in all-over graphics. Fringe sways on dresses and kimonos. Bikinis, one-piece swimsuits, and silk pareos cover the beach. Crochet, sangallo on duchesse, cotton jacquard, and silk twill, fil coupé, and crêpe de chine handle the texture work. The palette opens at ivory and warms through coral red, green, and ochre.

The men’s color spectrum nods to earth and sky, with golden yellow and blue set alongside earthy tones and violet. Linen, cotton, and silk-wool blends handle the suiting. Jackets land in all-over Paisley or in solid versions lined with florals. Knit polos and bowling shirts get placement prints. Western-style denim arrives in jacquard. Scarves, bandanas, and suede espadrilles with jute soles and leather trim round out the accessory edit.

The luggage closes the loop. ETRO’s Globe-Trotter suitcase set wraps vulcanized fiber structures in Arnica fabric and carries a patch reading “Since 1968,” the year ETRO was founded. The Pegasus, the house’s emblem of freedom and discovery, gets the last word.
