Dua Lipa traded color-blocked Cannes footwear for a full silver read on Friday, wearing Le Silla’s Shirley sandals to the Nespresso x Dua Lipa photocall.

The singer attended the event at Nespresso Beach during the 79th annual Cannes Film Festival in the Italian brand’s Shirley Heeled Sandals in Silver, a $836 style with a 120mm stiletto heel. The pair gave her earlier Cannes footwear shift a cleaner second act: after stepping out that day in bright red Ferragamo Itaca mules with a curved, S-shaped heel, Lipa went fully reflective for the beachside photocall.

The Le Silla sandals had a high-shine silver finish that read close to chrome against the blue Nespresso backdrop. The front sat low across the toes with an open square-cut vamp, a metallic band across the foot and a slim silver stiletto. A curved side and back panel wrapped the heel, while the narrow sole left the pedicure visible at the squared front. .

Lipa wore the sandals with an archival Jean Paul Gaultier mini dress from the spring 2009 collection. The top portion was built around thin metallic shoulder straps, a gunmetal bra-like bodice, a soft V neckline and a narrow peekaboo band under the bust. Long silver strands draped over the body, with darker sheer panels visible through the lower half and a jagged triangle hem cutting around the upper thigh. She added Bvlgari Serpenti jewelry at the neck and wrist; she was named an ambassador by the Italian luxury house back in February.

The Nespresso setting also gave the silver sandals a through line with one of Lipa’s earlier brand appearances. In March, after Nespresso announced her as its new global brand ambassador, she attended a New York event for the partnership in white Christian Louboutin Miss Z pumps and a ruched white Versace dress.

The 2026 Cannes Film Festival kicked off on Tuesday and is concluding on May 23. The 2026 edition of the festival will include films like “Fatherland,” starring Oscar-nominated actress Sandra Hüller, “Full Phil,” starring Kristen Stewart and filmmaker James Gray’s “Paper Tiger.” Demi Moore, Bella Hadid, Ruth Negga, and more stars are in attendance at the event this year.
