The duo have noted that tracks like “Just Dance Too” intentionally layer political and social observations into music that remains loud, fun, and built for a crowd.

Before PARTYOF2, SWIM and Jadagrace were part of the four-piece collective GROUPTHERAPY. The duo only came together after the group’s lineup changed, and what they’ve built since feels like a completely different chapter.”

The track is also packed with nods to hip-hop history. SWIM opens with an homage to The Notorious B.I.G.’s “Warning” intro, while Jadagrace fires back with a direct interpolation of 2Pac’s iconic “Hit ’Em Up” opening line:

“First off, f*** your bitch and the clique you claim…”

It’s funny, nostalgic, theatrical, and beautifully ridiculous.

The sharpest bars come from painfully real moments between the two, touching on arguments about ghostwriting, acting careers, singing lessons, and Jadagrace joking about financially carrying SWIM during their earlier years.
