Kaia Gerber styled Alaïa’s most recent resort collection at Friday’s JR X Evan Spiegel party in Paris.

The model and Re/Done campaign star wore a look from the brand’s 2026 resort curation, dubbed the winter-spring “Archetypes” collection, which debuted in November 2025. The strapless dress merged dark tones of black and chocolate brown together.

The bodice of the midi look was created in a leathery fabric with corset-style cutouts running down the front placket of the piece. Cinching at the waist, the edgy top of the dress transitioned to a flowing skirt with a thigh-high slit.

Cast in a brown color tone, the skirt contrasted the bodice in both color and material, with a jersey-like fabric and an asymmetric hemline that created a high-low effect for the overall look. Gerber paired her dress with strappy black sandal heels.

As for accessories, Gerber went mostly minimal, making her strapless Alaïa dress the focal point of her look. Glam elements included Gerber’s hair tousled with a middle part and soft waves. Her makeup included bold brows and lined eyes with a glossy neutral lip.

Gerber is the most recent celebrity to wear a piece from Alaïa’s 2026 resort collection. At the “Pressure” premiere on May 26, Oscar-nominated actress Kerry Condon wore a sculpted, off-the-shoulder dress in a rich dark velvet fabric that also hailed from the collection.

Designed by couturier Pieter Mulier, Alaïa’s 2026 resort collection featured a bevy of structured pieces with accessories throughout. The collection marked Mulier’s last as creative director of Alaïa, with the brand confirming in January that the designer was parting ways with the fashion label.

“The studio will ensure continuity in the interim period until a creative organization is confirmed,” the brand said in a statement, which also wished Mulier “every success in his future endeavors; he will always remain part of the Alaïa family.”

Mulier is now the creative director of Versace.
