Marvel has been playing their cards close to the chest with their two big releases of the year — Avengers: Doomsday and Spider-Man: Brand New Day. However, it was confirmed that just before the movie opens, Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be presented at Hall H at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. That event is slated to run from July 23-26, while Spider-Man: Brand New Day is opening right at the end of the month on July 31.

Tickets for the next Peter Parker adventure have now gone on sale. You can head on over to Fandango, which is selling special offers in pre-sales, as well as the opportunity to see the movie two days earlier if you are an Amazon Prime subscriber. Additionally, Fandango unveiled a new poster, which you can peek at below.

Brand New Rating

The MPA has also issued a new rating for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. It won’t be any surprise, but according to their new bulletin, the MPA has given the upcoming Marvel film a PG-13 rating for sequences of action/violence and some language.

Peter Parker’s Brand New Day

“After the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man,” reads the official synopsis. “Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he’s devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.“

Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) is directing from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. Holland has naturally returned as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, and Jon Bernthal joins him as Frank Castle/Punisher, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Michael Mando as Mac Gargan/Scorpion, and Marvin Jones III as Lonnie Lincoln/Tombstone. Sadie Sink, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Tramell Tillman appear in unspecified roles.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day swings into theaters on July 31.
