Sometimes the frilly detail anchors a micro mini, adding just the right amount of coverage for a polished look. Other times, it’s broken up into tiers, creating a mélange of textured ruffles on the hem of a maxi dress. Either way, it’s a go-to for some of the most stylish women in the world. Zendaya made heads turn in a Christian Cowan LBD earlier this summer.
