If You Still Think Sakura Is a Bad Character, Naruto Just Released a Brand-New Short to Prove You Wrong

If You Still Think Sakura Is a Bad Character, Naruto Just Released a Brand-New Short to Prove You Wrong

Sakura Haruno, a member of the protagonist trio of Naruto‘s franchise, is perhaps one of Masashi Kishimoto’s most despised characters. Sakura’s strength isn’t acknowledged by fans as much as Naruto’s and Sasuke’s are. Also, a disciple of one of the legendary sannins and holder of one of the biggest chakra pools in the entire franchise, Sakura has great moments to shine in Naruto. However, fewer of Sakura’s best moments have been animated with the same care and dedication as those of Naruto and Sasuke, contributing to the unfounded hatred towards her character.

Yet, this might change soon, thanks to an incredible promotional video released as part of the cinematics of the game Naruto Mobile and the franchise’s collaboration with Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, which features the best moments of Sakura Haruno. This amazing short has an outstanding animation quality that surpasses even the anime, which could make fans see Sakura in a different light.

Sakura Haruno’s Powers Are Showcased in Amazing Short Animation

Sakura Is One of the Most Underrated Characters in Naruto

Shared by the X user @AniRave, the short character intro was animated by Tencent as part of the Ninja Recruitment CGI animations released in september 2023 about the Great Ninja War and features some of Sakura’s iconic moments, like training with Tsunade, fighting Sasori’s puppets, and summoning Katsuyu in the new generation Three-Way Deadlock. However, the highlight of the short is the display of Sakura’s combat skill during the Ninja War, with the standout moment of her releasing the Yin seal, where she saved chakra for three years, all with an incredible animation quality that conveys the hype of the moment.

Sakura proved to be one of the most valuable characters in the Great Ninja War Arc, as without her contributions it was impossible for the Ninja Alliance to win. Sakura saved Naruto’s life, helped Obito by giving him enough chakra to open Kaguya’s dimensions, and contributed to sealing Kaguya, which showed how much she had changed and grown from her early days as a shinobi.

Sakura Haruno also recently had a special video released for the MLBB × NARUTO collaboration published on the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang YouTube channel to commemorate the skin based on the character, where her great mobility, fighting skills and raw power were perfectly displayed. This way, the animation is a great homage to Sakura’s journey from her days of training to the ninja war, where she put to the test all that she learned, demonstrating that she didn’t fall so behind characters like Sasuke or Naruto.

Sakura Haruno Does Not Deserve the Hate She Gets in Naruto

Most Viewers Despise Her for Her Fewer Mistakes Throughout Naruto’s Story

Although she is undoubtedly one of the best female characters in Naruto and a powerful ninja who played a major role in Naruto’s journey, even years after the series’ end, Sakura still receives unnecessary hate. Although Sakura has questionable moments in the series, like mocking Naruto for being an orphan or her fake confession in the Five Kage Summit arc, she is also a young and impulsive ninja who had a lot to learn, just like Neji Hyuga or Gaara improved throughout the story from their early behaviors.

Still, some people refuse to forgive Sakura’s lowest moments and recognize her growth throughout the series. Even Sakura’s mistakes are far lighter than those of characters like Sasuke and Itachi, who are much more praised due to their contributions to the battlefield despite their faults. Nevertheless, Sakura isn’t a useless character or weak, like many viewers have claimed, as she demonstrated her qualities in the final arc of the series.

Even in Boruto, Sakura demonstrated her strength by fighting powerful characters like Shin Uchiha. Likewise, this amazing short animation should be praised for its incredible quality and how it highlights the best traits of Sakura, serving as a reminder for fans of how much the criticism during the airing of Naruto‘s anime may negatively affect how fans see the character.
