The story digs into heavy philosophical questions about the consequences of rewriting time. What happens if a mother gives birth before a reset, only to become pregnant with a completely different child afterward, losing the first one forever? Will There Be a ‘Lazarus Project’ Season 3?

Despite its growing popularity, The Lazarus Project won’t be returning for a third season. Sky canceled the series after Season 2 without giving a clear reason, though falling viewership between seasons and high production costs were likely factors. The cancellation was especially frustrating for fans because Season 2 ended on a major cliffhanger with several characters’ fates left unresolved. With no plans to continue, The Lazarus Project joins the list of acclaimed shows like Hannibal, The OA, and Mindhunter that ended without closure.
