Lisa Kudrow has her reservations about appearing on season 4 of The White Lotus.

The 61-year-old Friends star sat down with Parker Posey on a recent episode of Variety’s Actors on Actors series. During their conversation, Lisa praised Parker‘s “complex” character Victoria Ratliff on season three of The White Lotus, and said she “loved” the work of creator Mike White.

Then, Parker suggested that Lisa should have a role on the fourth season of the hit show.

Lisa responded by saying that she “might not be [Mike‘s] cup of tea” due to his tendency to create unpredictable storylines.

“I do get nervous about inhabiting things that are too dark. I try to avoid that,” she explained.

This week, Lisa addressed the possibility of reprising one of her most famous roles.
