“It’s a thrill ride.” Sony Pictures debuted a new behind-the-scenes featurette for the Anaconda remake, a goofy action comedy in theaters on Christmas Day at the end of this year. The original Anaconda is a 90s classic, a totally ridiculous action movie starring JLo & Ice Cube that is unintentionally funny but also quite scary. This remake is going full-on with humor and a wacky meta concept. Two friends are going through a mid-life crisis – so they decide to remake their favorite movie from their youth but encounter unexpected events when they enter the jungle. Things get real when an actual anaconda appears, turning their comically chaotic movie set into a deadly situation. Starring Paul Rudd and Jack Black as Griff and Doug, ​Steve Zahn, ​Thandiwe Newton, ​Daniela Melchior, and ​Selton Mello. These featurettes bring us right into the new movie – sharing details on the crazy concept, the wacky humor, and the “cast chemistry” between the actors. Specifically with Paul & Jack hamming it up on set. Hopefully this turns out as fun as it looks. 🐍
