Elizabeth Olsen blended the vintage color play of her tailored skirt suit with a pop of contemporary edge from Paris Texas’ Lidia slingbacks in maroon mirror-effect leather while arriving at the “Today” show on Wednesday in New York City.

Made in Italy, the Lidia style featured a sharply pointed toe, thin elasticized slingback strap and a 105-millimeter stiletto heel. The mirror-finish leather reflected a deep oxblood tone that shifted between burgundy and metallic crimson.

Olsen paired the slick heels with a two-tone skirt suit that played on midcentury proportion and tailoring. The cobalt blue jacket featured structured shoulders, looped seams along the placket and tonal covered buttons, while the coordinating cornflower skirt fell below the knee with crisp pleats and an exaggerated curved seam that mirrored the jacket’s detailing on the opposite side, offering a matte counterpoint to her glossy slingback pumps.

The popular slingbacks extend Olsen’s run of pointed, minimalist heels across her “Eternity” press cycle. Over the weekend, she opted for Givenchy’s Boudoir Bow mules in black leather — an open-heel mule with a ruched bow fold across the vamp and sharply arched heel — while last week in Los Angeles, she matched a custom scarlet Miu Miu dress with red Le Silla slingbacks.

The Lidia remains Paris Texas’ signature heel, part of a broader lineup that has seen suede, satin and crystal-strap iterations favored by stars including Miley Cyrus and Demi Moore, among others, in recent months. Founder Annamaria Brivio has described the 4-inch design as a technical feat, refined millimeter by millimeter for comfort while retaining the sharp verticality that defines the brand. Now under the majority ownership of Brazilian group Arezzo & Co., Paris Texas continues to expand globally with more than 250 retail partners and a dedicated e-commerce platform.

Olsen’s appearance coincided with the ongoing promotion for her upcoming A24 film “Eternity,” a romantic comedy set in the afterlife opposite Miles Teller and Callum Turner, opening in U.S. theaters on Nov. 26.
