Today could be pivotal when the ultimate story of the 2025 NFL season is told
Several big games loom over the Sunday slate. The first comes in the early-afternoon window, when the 6-3 Buffalo Bills host the 6-3 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bills are coming off a surprising loss to the Miami Dolphins, a loss that now puts them three games behind the New England Patriots in the win column for the moment, thanks to New England’s win Thursday night over the New York Jets. For Tampa Bay, they need to win to stay ahead of the Carolina Panthers, who sit at 5-5 this season.
The late-afternoon slate has two key games with divisional implications in both the AFC West and the NFC West. The Denver Broncos, currently in first place in the division with a 6-2 record, host the 5-4 Kansas City Chiefs. But while that kicks off at 4:25 p.m. Eastern, the “DVOA Bowl” between the 7-2 Seattle Seahawks and the 7-2 Los Angeles Rams will go a long way towards determining the winner of the NFC West.
Sadly, not everyone will get to see that game.
Sunday’s slate concludes with a massive game between the 6-3 Detroit Lions and the 7-2 Philadelphia Eagles.
Of course, in this league every game matters.
As we do each week, we’ll keep you updated with the scores, big moments, key injuries, and more.
NFL Week 11 scores and results
Miami Dolphins 16, Washington Commanders 13
For the second week in a row, European fans were treated to extra football.
Last week the Atlanta Falcons and Indianapolis Colts needed overtime to settle things, and this week it was the Washington Commanders and Miami Dolphins who advanced to overtime after 60 minutes were not enough to determine a winner. Riley Patterson’s 29-yard field goal early in overtime was the difference.
Carolina Panthers 30, Atlanta Falcons 27 – Final
Bryce Young enjoyed one of the best days of his career, throwing for 448 yards and three touchdowns as the Panthers knocked off the Falcons in overtime. Young connected with rookie wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan as the Panthers took the lead late, but backup quarterback Kirk Cousins got the Falcons in position for the game-tying field goal to force overtime.
Carolina’s defense forced a three-and-out on the first series of OT, and a big completion from Young to Tommy Tremble set the stage for Ryan Fitzgerald’s game-winning kick.
Buffalo Bills 44, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 32 – Final
It was a fun one in Buffalo today, as the Bills outlasted the Buccaneers.
Josh Allen accounted for six touchdowns in the win, throwing for three and running for three more. That helped Buffalo overcome a two-touchdown day from Tampa Bay running back Sean Tucker.
Houston Texans 16, Tennessee Titans 13 – Final
Don’t look now but the Houston Texans are back to .500. Without C.J. Stroud for another week the Texans overcame a 3-0 halftime deficit, and Davis Mills engineered another game-winning drive as kicker Matthew Wright delivered a 35-yard field goal on the final play.
Chicago Bears 19, Minnesota Vikings 16 – Final
It was not pretty, but in the end, the Chicago Bears moved to 7-3 with a 19-16 win over the Vikings. Minnesota scored 14 points in the fourth quarter to take the lead on a J.J. McCarthy touchdown pass to Jordan Addison, but a big kick return from Devin Duvernay set up the Bears for their ensuing possession. They just needed a few yards to get into range for Cairo Santos’ game-winning 28-yard field goal.
Green Bay Packers 27, New York Giants 20 – Final
Jameis Winston and the Giants kept it close, but two touchdown passes from Jordan Love, a touchdown pass from Malik Willis who replaced Love for a series as the starting quarterback was being evaluated for a shoulder injury, and a stingy defense were enough for the Packers to close this one out.
Pittsburgh Steelers 34, Cincinnati Bengals 12 – Final
“UNC Bowl II,” as some fans lovingly called the matchup between Joe Flacco and Aaron Rodgers, did not live up to the hype of the previous installment. Rodgers was knocked out of the game with a left hand injury, but the Pittsburgh offense under Mason Rudolph put together two impressive drives in the second half, and the Steelers outscored Cincinnati 24-6 in the second half to take the win.
Jacksonville Jaguars 35, Los Angeles Chargers 6 – Final
It was all Jaguars today in Jacksonville. Trevor Lawrence, Travis Etienne Jr., and Bhayshul Tuten all scored rushing touchdowns as the Jaguars took control of this one early, going up by 14-6 in the first half and scoring 21 unanswered points in the second half. Jacksonville’s defense held Justin Herbert — who was knocked out of the game briefly — to just 81 yards on 10-of-18 passing.
Los Angeles Rams 21, Seattle Seahawks 19 – Final
The “DVOA Bowl” lived up to the hype, as Sunday’s game between the Rams and the Seahawks came down to the final play. Sam Darnold threw four interceptions, but still drove the Seahawks into position for Jason Myers to attempt a 61-yard field goal on the game’s final play. But the kick started and stayed right, and the Rams moved into first place in the NFC West with the win.
San Francisco 49ers 41, Arizona Cardinals 20 – Final
Jacoby Brissett completed an NFL record 47 passes, but it was all San Francisco in Arizona today. Christian McCaffrey scored three touchdowns and Brock Purdy threw three touchdowns as the 49ers improved to 7-4.
Baltimore Ravens 23, Cleveland Browns 16 – Final
The Baltimore Ravens trailed 16-10 at halftime, but scored 13 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to pull out the win. Mark Andrews scored his first career rushing touchdown on a fake tush push from 35 yards out to give Baltimore the lead late, and a fourth-down pass from Shedeur Sanders fell incomplete as a last-minute Browns drive fell short.
Denver Broncos 22, Kansas City Chiefs 19 – Final
Wil Lutz drilled a 35-yard field goal as time expired as the Broncos improved to 9-2 with a win over the Chiefs. A key play on that drive was a 32-yard connection between Bo Nix and Tony Franklin to set Denver up with a fresh set of downs at the Kansas City 15-yard line. After a kneel down from Nix, Lutz came on to convert the game-winner.
Detroit Lions at Philadelphia Eagles
