Wait, did North West just get a new facial piercing? Well, probably not, but she did have fun playing with the look in some new TikTok videos!

West and a friend posted a whole bunch of videos showing off their colorful hair and punk-inspired accessories, including a long, straight turquoise style with bangs for West and hot pink for her pal. Silver jewelry and studs were a key element of each look, with West wearing an armful of spiked leather cuff bracelets and a matching spiked silver necklace in addition to a bold diamond skull pendant—a Christmas gift from her mom—plus a silver piercing on either side of her nose. This is called a bridge piercing since it goes through the bridge of the nose, typically landing an inch or so below the brows. While some bridge piercings feature a metal bar between the barbells, West’s was a simpler style with a singular silver ball on either side. And that wasn’t the only faux piercing West experimented with for her videos; she also showed off a small silver ball beneath the lashline of one eye, plus one placed near her lower lip.

We’re not 100 percent sure if West’s piercings are for real, given the fact that they show up in a few videos and not in others and she’s worn faux piercings before. You can buy faux piercings online, which is probably what West did, or maybe she got creative and DIYed her own design.

West finished off her ensemble with a pleated skirt, sheer black tights, and furry black boots, plus a black and silver studded bag, a metallic silver manicure to match her jewelry and faux piercings, and a set of black grills.

West loves experimenting with her look, and we love watching her develop her signature style, which recently included bleached brows and another piercing. In September, West was spotted with a dermal piercing on her hand; she responded to comments and criticism with a TikTok video dedicated to “everyone that’s mad over a finger piercing.”

West’s mom, Kim Kardashian, has also spoken about how her 12-year-old daughter deals with public criticism of her fashion and beauty choices. “She’ll be like, ‘Mom, I saw this. And like, I don’t really care if someone says they don’t like my blue hair or, you know, like this or that,'” she shared. “And she’s really confident and is like, ‘I probably wouldn’t be hanging out with those people.’”
