Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie, the exceedingly charming breakout stars of the Canadian hockey-meets-yearning phenomenon Heated Rivalry, have rubbed more elbows at publicity events in the last several weeks than most Hollywood hopefuls could ever dream of. They have also, in rapid succession, worn enough designer outfits to said events to make anyone’s head spin.
Suddenly the hottest guys in Tinseltown, the Heated Rivalry stars capped off their whirlwind last few weeks by attending their first-ever Golden Globes on Sunday, where the actors presented the trophy for best supporting actress in a TV series. When the actors walked onto the stage to Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club” two hours into the broadcast, they did so in their most prestigious designer duds yet: Williams in a white Armani tuxedo jacket with a broad matching cummerbund, dark trousers, a bevy of gold Bvlgari jewelry, and shiny Christian Louboutin; Storrie, his curly hair slicked down into a mullet, in a Saint Laurent tux with a skinny tie and Tiffany jewels.
Not too shabby for two previously unknown Hollywood hopefuls from “a gay hockey show made for about $12 Canadian dollars” that hit streaming only six weeks ago. As Shane Hollander himself could attest, there is much power to be gleaned from hiring a stylist.
