Jenna Ortega’s Golden Globes Look Proves That the Low Waist Trend Is Red Carpet Ready

Jenna Ortega arrived at the Golden Globes 2026 red carpet and once again proved she’s a fashion It girl for the ages.

Ortega stepped out in a Wednesday-approved two-piece gown that featured a high turtle neck top with black fringe epaulette sleeves. The chicest feature of the top might be that it wasn’t complete; the sides were totally bare, save for two pieces of fabric that sat at her waist. The skirt was also a standout feature (and a trending silhouette for 2026), a low-waist black skirt that fell well below her feet.

For the glam, Ortega opted to keep her signature style save for one key feature. While her brown hair was pulled loosely back, and her eyebrows were classically—famously even!—bleached, her lips were neutral with a grayish liner that fit perfectly with her gothy aesthetic.
