J.J. Abrams’ upcoming sci-fi movie starring Jenna Ortega and Glen Powell, titled The Great Beyond, sets its release date, putting it in direct competition with another major upcoming release. The Great Beyond from Warner Bros. will be in IMAX theaters on November 13, 2026; the movie also stars Emma Mackey, Sophie Okonedo, Merritt Wever, and Samuel L. Jackson.
Notably, Ti West’s Paramount film Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol starring Johnny Deep also releases on this date. One of two upcoming adaptations of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, West’s movie is also set to star Daisy Ridley, Sam Claflin, Rupert Grint, Ellie Bamber, Andrea Riseborough, Tramell Tillman, and Ian McKellen.
