Anua is powering the K-pop-K-beauty connection.
In a new partnership announced Monday, the TikTok-viral skin care brand is teaming up with the award-winning Netflix film, “Kpop Demon Hunters,” to release a curated assortment of products, with five fresh innovations — Ceramide Barrier Collagen Mask, Vita Brightening Collagen Mask, Ultra-thin Spot Cover Patch, Invisible Matte Finish Sunscreen and Invisible Glow Finish Sunscreen Stick — plus the existing Zero Cast Sunscreen in limited-edition packaging.
The collection is available now on ulta.com, Amazon, TikTok Shop and the official Anua site. Customers will also be able to purchase the line in select stores nationwide starting Feb. 15. Every purchase made during the February launch period will also include a Derpy Tiger Acrylic Key Ring.
“For us, this collaboration is about meeting consumers where culture is actually being formed today,” said Seon Hyeong Yi, chief executive officer of Anua. “’KPop Demon Hunters’ sits at the intersection of entertainment, fandom and identity, and we see skin care becoming part of that everyday self-expression. This launch reflects how Anua is evolving, not just as a skin care brand, but as a cultural participant with a long-term vision for storytelling, global relevance and community.”
The news of this partnership comes less than a month after the 83rd annual Golden Globes ceremony, which saw the musical action film, co-directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, take home the award for Best Animated Feature. The film also received the award for Best Original Song for its viral anthem, “Golden,” by artists Ejae, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami — the voices of HUNTR/X, the K-pop girl band in the movie.

WWD caught up with Ejae, Nuna and Ami on the red carpet ahead of the ceremony, where they confessed their K-beauty dreams. “K-pop leads us to K-beauty; it’s having a huge moment. How are you guys thinking about beauty? Are you thinking about your own brands? Can we expect to see something?” asked Jenny Fine, editor in chief of beauty at WWD, to which Ejae admitted: “My dream is to have a makeup line.”
“I have eczema, so it would be great to make something that helps people who have dry, flaky skin, such as myself,” added Nuna before Ami said she’d double down on athleisure first. “Surfing, swimming, hiking; the shoe game would be insane for that. I’d make the cutest hiking boots,” she continued.
