Anya Taylor-Joy slipped into a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti strappy sandals for the Apple TV Press Day at Barker Hangar in Los Angeles on Tuesday. The actress wore an all-black ensemble for the event, pairing it with minimalist black sandals, her preferred shoe style, making her long Khaite skirt the focal point of the look.

The sandals feature a black patent-effect synthetic fabric upper, an almond-shaped open toe, a single toe strap, and a branded insole. The shoes sit on a high stiletto heel measuring 105mm. The heeled sandals also feature a buckle-fastening strap with silver metal hardware. The top strap sits lower around the ankle, creating a slip-on, mule-like effect on the shoe.

While they appear to be traditional strappy sandals from the front, a side view of the actress on the carpet shows how much lower on her foot the ankle strap sits. While the black version is currently sold out, Giuseppe Zanotti offers the shoes in metallic red, green and gunmetal colors in the out season section of its website for $425.

She matched the shoes to her Khaite Gres skirt. The high-waisted pencil skirt is made from a buttery and lightweight lambskin leather that clung to her frame. The garment features a corset-like fit, shaped by intricate darting at the waist. It also features an asymmetric two-way zipper at front with signature silver hardware to match the shoes. She paired the skirt with a simple, form-fitting black turtleneck, also in black.

She accessorized with a Tiffany & Co. Knot ring in white gold with diamonds, a Tiffany & Co. Knot bangle, and Tiffany & Co. Lock earrings also in white gold. Taylor-Joy often wears the brand’s jewelry on the red carpet since she joined Tiffany in 2021 as an ambassador. She was featured in a Tiffany high jewelry campaign in 2022 and was the face of Tiffany’s Blue Book 2023: Out of the Blue high jewelry collection.

The Golden Globe nominee was at the Apple TV Press Day to promote “Lucky,” a new Apple TV limited series that she stars in and executive produces. The project is a thriller based on Marissa Stapley’s novel, and the seven-episode series follows a con artist on the run, featuring a cast that includes Annette Bening and Timothy Olyphant. The show premieres on the steaming service on July 15.
