At Teen Vogue Summit 2025, Attendees Brought Vintage Looks Full of Personality

Teen Vogue Summit 2025 may be over, but our speaker and attendee outfits are still fresh in our minds. Onstage, Katseye donned GAP denim while speaking about their friendship dynamic; Vivian Wilson brought a fresh spin to minimalism as she debunked transphobic myths; and Tanner Addell sported boho chicness as she discussed Nashville’s country scene.

On the grounds, equally exciting looks were pulled by aspiring journalists in middle and high school, college fashion designers, and early-career writers, who parsed through our eBay pop-up: a trove of staff-selected vintage and pre-loved luxury handbags, jewelry, outerwear, and much more.

Throughout the warm Saturday in Los Angeles, girl group-inspired outfits and head-to-toe thrifted looks appeared again and again, each with the wearer’s own unique spin. Below, we got the rundown on Teen Vogue Summit goers’ outfit inspiration, treasured accessories, and all things personal style.

Rynn, 19, and Tailor, 20, College Students

Teen Vogue: What’s the inspiration behind your looks today?

Rynn: I’m obsessed with Tate McRae’s performance at the VMAs and was like, “dang, she served.” I have a lace pink jersey on with lace shorts as well as cowboy boots because of Cowboy Carter, just a lot of artist inspiration right now.

Tailor: I always love putting ties with skirts, so I threw on a tie and a skirt. I like the duality of feminine and masculine looks paired together.

TV: Music and style go hand-in-hand. How do you personally weave the two together?

R: We’re both on a dance crew right now and there’s so much versatility within what you listen to and what you perform. Fashion is another way for you to perform with style; I just love me a visual that can depict a feeling, a sensation people can relate to.

T: We express our fashion a lot through the different types of dance, which play a big part in what you wear. And I feel like recently I’ve been into groups like Katseye and the energy they bring.

TV: Tell me more about your friendship and dance.

T: So we didn’t really know each other freshman year. But I walked up to Rynn at a party one time and was like, “I have the biggest friend crush on you.” And then last year we both joined a dance group while still having our respective friend groups. This year, we were just like, “f*ck it, let’s be besties.”

R: Timing really fell into place for us.

Erin Cammiso, 25, Talent Manager

Teen Vogue: Tell me about the piece you’re wearing that feels most like you.

Erin Cammiso: I would say all of it at this point, but I feel like it’s either my silver bangle, or my purse, which is YSL Tom Ford. It feels the most like me just because I can throw it on every single day and it matches everything in my closet. Leather, the color black, and silver accents are my bread and butter.

TV: What’s one fun fact about your look?

EC: This artist I’ve always wanted a tattoo from was finally in Los Angeles, so I got my first first bigger piece today. I’ve realized I need to stop waiting to do things for a special occasion. Finding a design and artist that feel like me was amazing. But hopefully my dad doesn’t hear about this.

TV: Describe your style in a song and a scent.

EC: Probably “Take It Or Leave It” by The Strokes. It’s my favorite. For scent, Maison Louis Marie No.04. Once I found that perfume, it just went with my outfit.

Linny Osborne, 19, Artist

TV: Tell me about your favorite part of your look.

Linny Osborne: It’d have to be this resin orchid necklace. I’ve been seeing these all around Los Angeles and finally found the lady who makes them. It’s a Black-owned business and I’m super happy to have it. It makes me feel like a fairy.

TV: What’s one piece that makes an outfit a Linny outfit?

LO: Either the kandi bracelets or the Crocs. I wore my Crocs to graduation. I wore them to my prom. I wear them every single day of my life. But the bracelets and trading them mean so much to me. I’ll get home, I’ll put on an episode of something and I’ll just make them.

TV: Do you have a particularly fond memory of trading kandi bracelets?

LO: I was at a show, the music was super loud, and this girl was like, “I love your bracelets.” Instead of trading me another one, she gave me a tiny little blue-haired troll doll. It made my day.

Victoria Chabenc, 22, and Gules Castllanos, 25, Recent College Graduates

TV: What went through your mind this morning when you were putting your ensembles together?

Victoria Chabenc: I recently cut my bangs and was giving manic pixie girl, so I put them up because I was a little embarrassed. I put my glasses on and my shirt, I don’t know where I got it, but I thrifted everything else. Then my mom gave me these necklaces.

Gules Castllanos: Right now, I’m leaning towards 1960s style and have been cutting up my shirts. For my pants, I’ve been trying to find bell bottoms and these are probably the best ones I’ve gotten so far.

TV: How did you both meet?

VC: On social media, we’ve been friends for around a year. This is actually our first time meeting in person.

GC: We both live an hour away in opposite directions, so this is our middle spot. It was last-minute, I’m not going to lie. Victoria was already planning to come with her friend, who could no longer make it, so she asked me. Of course, I’d take up the opportunity.

TV: Tell me about the first moment you saw each other IRL.

VC: We were on the phone trying to find where we were, and the first thing I said was like, “Wait, I see you and your fried blonde hair.”
