Britney Spears’ Team Wants Her in ‘Rehab’ After DUI Arrest

Britney Spears’ inner circle thinks it’s time for “drastic measures” to be taken after her DUI arrest.

“Her team wants her in rehab or a program to help her get to a better place,” an insider exclusively tells Us Weekly. “Everyone around her hopes this will be a wake-up call for her.”

The pop star, 44, was brought into police custody just after 9 p.m. local time on the evening of Wednesday, March 4, on suspicion of driving under the influence of a combination of alcohol and drugs near her home in Ventura County, California.

“This behavior has been going on for months but has been worse recently,” an insider told Us. “She has a lot of alone time at home which leads her to make bad choices like drinking. She’s at home now and [her son] Jayden is going to spend time with her to keep her company.” (Spears shares 20-year-old Sean Preston and 19-year-old Jayden James with her ex-husband Kevin Federline.)
