Creative Artists Agency has hired major studio veterans Casey Leddy, Jim Morris and Kris Wallis for its Entertainment Partnerships division to drive more talent and brand partnerships across film, TV streaming and other media platforms.
“The addition of Casey, Jim, and Kris reflects the incredible growth and momentum of our Entertainment Partnerships business. Each brings a proven track record of building impactful brand and content collaborations across the industry. Their experience and relationships will be instrumental as we continue to expand the department’s capabilities and build meaningful partnerships between brands and premium entertainment,” Scott Iason and Margo Plotkin, co-heads of sales for CAA’s Entertainment Partnerships, said in a statement.
The latest hires come as CAA tailors its content strategy, brand integration and cross-platform collaborations for an evolving industry landscape, with an eye to helping develop, fund and market films, TV shows and digital content.
Hollywood is embracing a fast-growing creator economy where marketing brands are integrated directly into movies, TV series and social media, and major talent and storytellers go beyond product endorsements to become brand creators and owners as entrepreneurs.
Leddy most recently worked at BENlabs, spearheading branded integrations across film, TV and streaming content, and before completed executive stints at Sony Pictures Entertainment, Disney and Twentieth Television. Morris has led brand partnerships in major categories like auto, consumer and fashion brands at the Walt Disney Studios, Delta Air Lines, Paramount Pictures and the Grammy Awards, as well as the Academy of Country Music and Teleflora.
Wallis brings experience in theatrical promotions, branded integrations, consumer licensing and media production. She served as senior vp of partnership marketing at Sony Pictures Entertainment’s Screen Gems and TriStar Pictures, and led movie campaigns for Revlon, L’Oréal, Nestlé, Procter & Gamble, General Mills, PepsiCo, Adidas, Porsche and American Express. Wallis also worked at Warner Bros. Pictures, overseeing promotional campaigns for major studio releases like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Resident Evil, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, Jumanji and Ghostbusters.
The Entertainment Partnerships department works with major brands and talent like Ariana Grande, Shondaland, Jimmy Fallon, Apple TV, Disney, Jennifer Garner, Crocs, Tinder, Activision, The Clorox Company and others.
