‘Chucky’ May Have Been Canceled, But He’s Been Working Out With This Buff New Horror Funko Pop

Funko has been hard at work showcasing their horror lineup for the 2025 Halloween season. From plushies to Mystery Minis to Pops, they’ve been treating genre fans well the last few months. Now, with fall quickly approaching, Funko has unveiled their latest scream-worthy Pop for a slasher icon.

Funko’s newest horror edition to their vinyl figure Pop collection is Chucky. However, this isn’t any old Good Guy Doll. Funko has done a ton of those in the past for films like Child’s Play 2 and Bride of Chucky. This particular one is Buff Chucky, based on Season 2 of the SyFy series. This unique Pop has everyone’s favorite possessed doll with muscles protruding from his signature overalls. This is just the latest Chucky series Pop from Funko. They previously added burnt Chucky, old Chucky, and a Phantom of the Opera-inspired masked Chucky to their Child’s Play franchise collection. This Buff Chucky will be $14.99 USD.

Funko’s 2025 Halloween lineup hasn’t just featured Chucky, it has also included horror legends like Art the Clown from Terrifier, Pennywise from the upcoming HBO series, IT: Welcome to Derry, and Jigsaw from Saw. This month’s latest additions have had The Bent-Neck Lady from The Haunting of Hill House and The Entity from Smile joining Funko’s ever-growing terrifying lineup of figures.

As for Chucky’s on-screen adventures, the killer doll has been taking some time off since his SyFy show got canceled after three seasons last year. This series brought Chucky back into the horror spotlight and started a wave of new merchandise that has made a ton of fans happy. Besides the Funko Pops, this has included action figures from NECA and Mezco Toyz, a collaboration with Fanta soda, and stunning physical media editions. The latter has seen the original set of films come to 4K Blu-ray for the first time thanks to Scream Factory. The series has also seen its fair share of Blu-ray releases with a new complete series steelbook edition on the way. The series itself was one of the best-reviewed entries in the franchise, which still makes it a shock that it was abruptly canceled.

The Chucky TV series is currently streaming on Peacock. A new film from franchise creator Don Mancini is also in development.
