The drama on Days of Our Lives continues to intensify after Stephanie was kidnapped. Her stalker has made his biggest move, with Steve looking for her in every corner of Salem. Now, actress Abigail Klein has shared her thoughts on the same.

Abigail Klein on who could’ve kidnapped Stephanie in Days of Our Lives

In her interview with Soaps, Abigail Klein shared who she feels could have kidnapped Stephanie in Days of Our Lives. She said, “Stephanie is definitely convinced that Jeremy is behind this, because, I mean, he’s ambidextrous, so that tells you all you need to know.” The 37-year-old further added, “Their history is really toxic and terrible, so she wouldn’t put it past him, let’s say.”

However, it’s possible that Jeremy is not behind this crime. Klein continued, “It does come out that he didn’t do this, and he hadn’t been writing her all these letters.” The former professional cheerleader further explained, “I think she would just leave well enough alone.” Klein also said, “I think that they had their run and I think the fact that he left town was probably the best thing to ever happen the first time around.”

Nevertheless, Jeremy’s innocence won’t lead to a reunion. “I think she would just try to steer clear from him,” the actress said. She continued, “I’m sure she would forgive [him] for herself and so that there would be closure, but I think she would leave well enough alone.” At the end of the day, Stephanie only “wants her autonomy back.” Klein concluded, “She wants to start living [her life], and she doesn’t want to live in fear.”

As per spoilers, Stephanie will get to see the face of her culprit on tonight’s episode. However, the storyline is expected to be dragged out for more episodes.
