Diane Kruger is a Pilot in Romantic Thriller Film ‘Visions’ New Trailer

“Most people put their memories in drawers and lock them away.” Dark Sky Films has revealed an official US trailer for an indie thriller titled Visions, made by French filmmaker Yann Gozlan (also of Black Box, Dalloway). This actually premiered and opened in France back in 2023 but is only now getting a US release – on VOD right away this December. Diane Kruger stars as Estelle, a brilliant airline captain, who leads a perfect glamorous life with her husband Guillaume, a renowned doctor. But something is about to change when Estelle falls in love with Ana and begins an intense affair. A woman she once met at an airport. Yann Gozlan’s Visions is an erotic psychological thriller reminiscent of the cinema of Brian De Palma and plays with the mythology of the Côte d’Azur as a place where the border between reality and appearances blurs. It can certainly do that. Along with Kruger, this also stars Mathieu Kassovitz, Marta Nieto, Amira Casar, Grégory Fitoussi, and Élodie Navarre. This looks like an intriguing thriller, especially focusing on her job as a pilot, although it seems to be another classic case of jealousy & passion within French relationships.

When she accidentally meets the photographer Ana at the airport in Nice, her bourgeois life is turned upside down. She had a passionate affair with Ana 20 years ago. Now the fire of passion flares up again in Estelle and, caught between husband and lover, fate steers her life in new directions. Visions is directed by acclaimed French filmmaker Yann Gozlan, director of the films Captifs, A Perfect Man, Burn Out, Black Box, and Dalloway previously. The screenplay is written by Michel Fessler, Aurélie Valat, Jean-Baptiste Delafon, Yann Gozlan. Also in collaboration with Audrey Diwan; from an idea by Michel Fessler. Produced by Eric Nebot, Matthias Weber, & Thibault Gast. This initially premiered at the 2023 Angoulême Francophone Film Festival and it already opened in France back in late 2023. Dark Sky Films will release Gozlan’s Visions in select US theaters starting on December 12th, 2025 this fall. Anyone want to watch?
